Your suspension doesn’t come cheap. If you have any kind of suspension on your bike, that technology makes up a good portion of the expense of your bike. If your bike is a $2500 mountain bike there’s a good chance that the fork on it has a replacement value of at least $600 and if you have full-suspension, the rear shock might be worth $395 or more!!!
That being said, isn’t it important to treat that piece of dynamic equipment better than your microwave, which most people clean on a weekly basis? In order to function correctly these units must be serviced regularly at different levels. Each manufacturer has their own requirements to stay within warranty and their respective product guarantee. Most require an oil service at 50 hours of riding.
This isn’t Walmart stuff. If you’re on premium equipment it’s like owning a Porsche. Don’t skimp on taking proper care of it. Talk to us about product care and service intervals.
